Ohkay Owingeh: Place of Strong People

This largest of the Tewa-speaking pueblos was once known for its incised and micaceous pottery. Today they make a variety of crafts, including some award-winning jewelry, but are better known as a center of government and of modern agriculture and manufacturing.
